FLANSBURG - Donald E.
Born March 25, 1938, in Rome, NY, passed away in his home March 18, 2020. After serving as a firefighter for the city of Buffalo, he was a chemist at National Aniline. Don subsequently devoted his professional life as a chemistry teacher at Hutchinson Central Technical High School and other Buffalo city schools for more than 25 years. He chose to continue his love of learning and education by donating his body to the UB Anatomical Gift Program. Don enjoyed camping, touring, recreational flying, hiking, spending winters in Florida, and honing his skills as an amateur radio operator. He is survived by his wife Anne and many endeared family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Flowers graciously declined.
