BAUER - Geraldine E. of Amherst, NY, July 16, 2023, at age 89. Loving daughter of the late Albert and Alice Bauer; dear sister of the late Richard and James Bauer. Also survived by Bauer family cousins. A special Aunt to Elley (Bill Vaughan) Widmer, Edward (Terrie Bright) Rybicki, Amy (Ian Shaw) Pilette, and Mia Shaw, along with other members of the Rybicki family. Special friend of Cheryl Babbitt. Visitation at the KOLANO FUNERAL HOME, 396 Amherst St. (near Grant) Friday from 9-10AM, where Funeral Services will immediately follow at 10AM. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Geraldine was a homemaker for most years of her life. She spent the past 10 years living independently in a Senior Apartment complex where she made many friends and enjoyed parties, bingo, puzzles and reading. Her smile was contagious, and her devious cackle laugh was amusing. Her memory inspires kindness, compassion, and love.
