Beloved mother of Katherine (John Herbst), Andrew, Mark (Kathryn Botting), Emily (late Jason) Bren, Claire (Josh) Stangle and David Mierzwa; daughter of the late Frank and Virginia; devoted grammy of Ian, Addy and Mila; dear sister of Julie (Jimmy) Wilkinson and the late Ronnie (Maryanne) Butkowski; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved cat Stewart. JoAnn was a dedicated member of the City of Tonawanda Community where she served others as the director of the United Way and as a member of the Sunrise Exchange Club.
