Sending deepest sympathy to the family and special friends of Bette Donovan. It made me sad to hear of her passing. I so enjoyed the shared photos here. While I hadnt seen Bette in a few years, I recognized those beautiful blue eyes and noticed the picture entitled 2012 Nancy's with great grandchildren swimmers that everyone in the picture had those same beautifully colored eyes. I have pictures of her from the early eighties when she was a blue eyed blonde --- She was a beautiful woman. Bette was one of a kind and I am so glad I had the chance to know her once upon a time. Full of a zest for life and a love of Manhatten's... She was a smart and classy lady. I am sorry for your loss- May Bette rest in the arms of the Father and the peace of the Angels.
