The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michael Tritto can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Mr. Tritto

As a student at Kensington High School from 1969-1972, Mr. Tritto was by far mine, and many thousands of others, favorite teacher.  There was none better. Whether it was fun in Spanish class or working on the yearbook staff while listening to Chuck Mangione records and macramaeing belts when our work was done,

he made everything we did fun, relevant, enjoyable and easy whether it was a final exam or a vocabulary list.

I loved his pictures, cards and even the poetry as teenagers that we never did understand!  I share in the loss and pain of his family and I will never forget babysitting his boys and his incredible wife, Marg.  The world has lost a great husband, father, teacher, mentor, gentleman and friend.  God cares for him now that we no longer can.

He is an incredible human being that they most definitely broke the mold on! He is one of a kind and I will never forget his smiling face.  He has taught all of us well while he was here and I know we will see him again! A life well lived and a legacy in his poetry book!  We are all blessed and are better people for having had the privilege to know him and been a part of his life. I am sure he was instrumental in my 33 year career as a Mathematics teacher and an Assistant Principal in the Buffalo Public Schools. Your family

is in my thoughts and prayers always.
