The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph Buczak can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Barbara Crotty
Condolence: Celebrating a life well lived, Joe would have it no other way.
We were neighbors forever, but I only came to know Joe the past ten years.
We shared many conversations and lively discussions on solving our personal problems as well as the world's. He was always so kind to ask about my special needs daughter, such a compassionate man, sometimes in disguise.
Susan and Stefan, he spoke of you often, and was so very proud of the adults you have become. He loved his grandchildren dearly and always looked forward to their visits.
Know he will be missed by many, but also know that he is re-united with your Mom.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, hold on to your memories and let them guide you during this time of sadness.
May God help heal your broken hearts

Condolence: Dear family of Joe: Growing up in Black Rock, Joe was the resident heart throb. His brother, Johnny, was also cool and handsome, but he was away at school most of the time. My girlfriends and I would take turns wearing his ring. He married our friend Mary Lou and while he was in the service we had to listen to all of his voice messages he would send her.We all danced at their wedding at the St. Elizabeth Hall and I caught their wedding bouquet. After they moved to Boston, we lost touch. We all shared Mary Lou's loss. I did spend some time with Joe in later years and still loved him. I called him every August 7th for his birthday. He will always be one of my heart throbs. There was no nicer guy than him.

Condolence: Our deepest sympathies to Karen, Stephen and family, Susan and family. Joe was a good and generous man. He will be missed by all who knew him. He made this world a better place while he was in it. Whenever I was with him and Karen he made me laugh. I think we shared the same kind of humor. I will miss Joe. He is with God now, and in peace.
