The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Florence Kuchta can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Aunt Flo

She is my mom's sister.  I have so many memories of Aunt Flo at all of our family parties.  This post is not so much a story, but a collection of memories I will always have stuck in my head.   Her laugh filled the room!  I have a picture of her dancing at a family wedding at Polish Cadets.  No matter who had the family party, it was always full of cousins of all ages running around, swimming pools, the adults playing bocci ball, corn on the cob and hamburgers on the grill.  When we were little, we all lived within a couple blocks of each other, and cousins spent time playing with cousins.  When my mom passed away, I remember seeing Aunt Flo and thinking how much she looked like my mom.   Aunt Flo was a constant presence in my life, as were all my aunts and uncles.  My memories of her will always make me smile.  Uncle Chet, Chris, Ken and Pam, my heart is with you.
