The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Willard Gallagher can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Art Klein
Condolence: I met Bill in 1960 and we remained friend since.

We worked together on the Derrick McCauley until 1975 and I moved on to other work.

We shared a live interest in early 20th Century literature and beer. In those days we drank lots of beer and discussed TS Elliot and the poets of WWI.

He was a very unusual person and fit no mold that I ever knew.

He really fought the big battle this past year. We were told he would not survive very long in September but his body didn't agree and he lasted to May. RIP chum.

It was fun.
