Condolence: My wife, Mary, and I extend our condolences to the Polec family on the passing of Joe. We have known Joe for so many years - in fact too many to count! Joe was my parents' next-door neighbor on Page Street. I would see him at least once a week when I went to cut my dad's grass. We always had a nice conversation about many things. I found him to be very proud of his Polish heritage, and he would reminisce about his life experiences. He was a good neighbor and a good friend to both my mom and dad. He was also attentive and had a watchful eye on them, as they did for him. We are saddened by his passing but are grateful that we were able to be part of his life in friendship.
